My name is Amy and I'm a junior doctor and running coach. I'm currently working in Bath and completing a Sports Medicine MSc part-time.

Running has been a part of my life since childhood but I became particularly passionate about the sport in my twenties. As I competed in more races I developed a greater interest in both the physiology and psychology behind running. I started creating my own training plans and reduced by marathon time down to 2hrs57.

I became a running coach so that I can support people as they start their running journeys and push more experienced runners to achieve their goals.

about this website

On this website you will find ideas for staying motivated, plans for running sessions and tips for races. Although as much content as possible is made available this is all general information without the personal touch that having a running coach provides. For one-to-one or virtual coaching, see 'Coaching'.
